Thompson grew up with a severe stutter, which no doubt steered him into less frustrating forms of communication; i.e., drawing.In 2003 Thompson exhibited a collection of work entitled “Crawl, walk, run” at the Oni Gallery, Boston Ma.
In 2005 Thompson was a recipient of the Xeric grant (founded by Peter Laird, co-creator of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) for his book “HUSK”, a collection of illustrated short stories, comics and journal entries.
From 2009 to present day he has worked as a professional tattoo artist in the New England area specializing in black and grey portraiture.
He lives outside, of Boston with his German shepherd Hank.
